Late 19thC / early 20thC cigarette tin, an interesting piece of Liverpool history.

Promotional text states, Grand Format, No 10 Russian Blend, manufactured in England expressly for Henry Durandu, Liverpool.

By the time of the 1871 census Henry Durandu was listed as a tobacconist. A decade later the census of 1881 lists Henry as a cigar merchant and this description remained

in effect for almost thirty years until the time of his death in 1910.
