Consisting of Italian mapping in an acrylic sphere measuring almost 18” in diameter.

Stylish clear acrylic feature axis and aluminium base in its original pristine 1950’s style hammered gold paint finish.

Inside the globe there is a SES bulb holder fitting including replaceable low wattage bulb in working order. 

In-line on/off switch and moulded plug with 3w fuse.

Designed and first made in the 1950’s this striking Sputnik inspired decorative globe captures country and political boundaries at a moment in history during the swinging 60’s.

An incredible decorative item with the benefit of soft illumination when required.
