Consisting of two parts, a removable carved cornice with frieze and one piece bookcase/base (please note that this item does not have a removable bookcase). 
The glazed bookcase section has equal astragal glazed doors opening to two adjustable shelves. The mid section comprises of hinged piano fallboard opening to reveal pull-out writing surface with skiver and classic fitted storage. The galleried bureau section is supported on two turned columns with well carved collar details, beneath the bureau can be found two equal panelled doors opening to single shelf storage. The base is raised on a substantial swept profile plinth.
This is a delightful piece, ideal for occasional home working and storage of your favourite titles and private papers.
