Produced between 1930 - 1958 in slightly different variations by Lines Bros, this particular Tri-ang Type 61 dolls house dates from the late 1940’s/early 1950’s.
Referred to as the Metroland house, an aspirational home for a commuter town as part of the London / Railway Co development plan for North London.
Primarily comprising of pressed composite boards/plywood hinged part front elevation for access to internals, decorative floral planting design to the front, decorative finishes to the interiors.
This example is offered with genuine play wear, ideal for collectors demanding authentic pieces that haven’t been through Grandads paint shop!
