Highly popular decorative collectors piece dating from the 1940s-1960’s. The surface is intricately inlaid with agate and other semi-precious stones, forming an elegant multicoloured floral pattern in the European marquetry style. The Indian stone inlay artistry follows the conventions employed on the finest surface finishes within the Taj Mahal.

A fine example of Indian decorative arts, the marble is expertly formed and polished creating a fine ground to showcase the richness of the floral design (courtesy of the colouration and peacocking of the hand selected natural semi-precious stones).
