Vintage 20thC French Country Style Clothing / Media Armoire by high end USA maker Hickory White.
This versatile ‘one-piece’ storage piece was part of their successful Chateau Collection, manufactured in maple to reflect rich cherry tones in the second half of the 20thC. This piece offers various open and enclosed storage solutions or alternatively it could be used as enclosed storage for media including T.V. and music equipment. 
Following classic 18th and 19thC French armoire design this stylish piece comprises of carved cornice, two full height fielded panel doors, opening to fitted interior, all raised on carved legs with profiled and carved bottom rail.
The fitted interior has fixed shelves and drawers to the lower section, removable pigeon hole shelving to the middle section and open storage above. It is possible to remove the pigeon hole storage section to increase the amount of hanging space (buyer to add hanging rail) or for the inclusion of media equipment. The back of the armoire includes a removable panel to aid ventilation in the case of use with electrical media.
This large format armoire is in good condition throughout, it is supplied in one piece, it will require three/four strong people to safely move (Doors and cornice can be removed by unscrewing to help reduce the weight whilst moving).
A highly recommended piece for bedroom, dressing room, hallway or cloaks room.
