Dating from the first half of the 20thC this dark stained, solid oak, freestanding, open bookcase is a very clever design.
Designed to utilise attractively proportioned slim section shelves and end boards, the design incorporates a fixed ‘Y’ brace design to the rear to give this piece strength and stability whilst remaining light to move and relocate.
This piece consists of 5 fixed height shelves, end panels with quarter circle cut out to top front edge, timber ‘Y’ brace to rear.
This bookcase provides generous storage in a slim attractive form. We recommend all freestanding bookcases are secured to a wall to eliminate the risk of tipping (inexpensive restraint fixings available from DIY outlets/Amazon, etc.).
