This substantial solid oak nightstand / cupboard dates from the second half 20thC. Craftsman made piece embodying the best of Spanish Gothic Revival design.
Comprising octagonal shaped galleried top, octagonal form to fielded panel and concave panel sides, single hinged door with heavy brass pull opening to cupboard space over stepped octagonal base. 
This is a substantial solid oak piece not to be confused with inferior modern furniture.
Good condition throughout, this stylish piece would work equally well in bedroom or living environments.
