After Joseph Nash (1809 - 1878) the highly regarded English watercolour painter and lithographer. Nash specialised in architecturally important historical buildings his major works included the 4-volume Mansions of England in the Olden Time, published from 1839-49. He is noted as an exemplar of his work, his style much emulated by his contemporaries. 
This set provides an insight into the grandeur of this fine building and fashions of the period.
