Rare ‘Stories’ Huntley and Palmers Biscuit tin in the form of three children's books in green handled satchel container. The carry handle is designed to swing out of the way allowing the hinged lid in the form of book spines to be opened.
This version dates from 1910, Huntley/Bourne Stevens are credited with the design.
The book names on the book spines are 'The Jungle Book', 'Many Gargoes', ‘Westwood Ho'
This rare promotional tin was aimed at children hence its smaller size.
