A pair of late 19th Century Victorian carved mahogany framed fireside / library / occasional chairs.

Comprising horseshoe form upholstered backs on galleried supports, blue velvet fabric upholstered seat pad, shaped front legs, oblong section rear legs. 

The blue velvet upholstery appears to be fairly recently reupholstered.

The chairs show signs of previous use including rub marks and scratches. Ahead of sale shipment the frames will be polished and the wear points will be re-stained.
