This pair of large Victorian Corinthian Column lamps in solid brass offer timeless charm and sophistication thanks to their familiar classic form.
The tapered reeded column rises from a substantial three step base. The cast brass Corinthian terminals are particularly well executed, brass rods rising to switched bulb holder.
The lamps benefits from a new switched lamp holder and flex meeting current standards.
Perfect as a personal desk lamps for home working, elegant table lamps or hall stand lamps, alternatively grand bedside lamps.
The lamps include new green velvet shades with gold reflective internals.
Background information
These lamps most probably started life as an oil lamp and given their quality would have been a prime candidate for conversion to electricity when affluent home owners undertook the conversion to electricity from oil and gas.
