The 1228 desk lamp is a timeless design Anglepoise for contemporary and classic interior spaces.

Designed by Sir Kenneth Grange who has been the mastermind behind some of Britain’s most iconic and successful designs, including the Kenwood Mixer, the Kodak Instamatic, the Intercity 125 train and the updated London taxi.

Taking advantage of the world famous Anglepoise Constant Tension Spring Technology, this versatile lamp design allows the user to adjust the height, reach, angle and rotation of the lamp to their exact and changing needs.

We offer for sale a matched pair of 1228 lamps with opaque/translucent ice-white shades, perfect for bedside reading, home work zones or feature lighting situations.

This lamp colour is famous for its use in the movie SkyFall (2012), we can spot an Anglepoise Type 1228 Desk Lamp on the desk of M (Judi Dench) and Bill Tanner (Rory Kinnear) in M's new underground office.

These lamps are previously used items, one lamp base has some dents around the circumference as detailed in our images.

We recommend these stylish lamps for anyone looking for versatile lighting with a coherent design.
