This one off creation combines a genuine Jet  Age 1950’s Le John electric hair dryer in all its chrome and pastel paint splendour and a precision machined aeronautical part from a Tornado Jet made by Rolls Royce.

By leaving most of the hairdryer in tact it’s possible to still appreciate the various design cues and best angles of view of this wonderful piece of industrial design. 

The solid precision machined base gives the lamp a firm anchor and provides a symbolic link to the hair dryers Jet Age aspirations.

Great to view from various angles we love the baffled blower vent and the ventilation holes in the circular body which we imagine represents a turbo or supercharger.

Traditional fabric twist cable and in-line switch complete the specification.
