A really handsome 19thC Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase.
For ease of relocation this two part antique library piece consists of glazed bookcase and separate cupboard base with slide out fitted secretaire.
Glazed bookcase cabinet consisting of classic moulded cornice with carved corbel supports, over equal glazed doors opening to three original height adjustable shelves. Original key present.
Cupboard base with moulded edge top over full width, galleried slide out fitted secretaire with two original pressed drawer pulls, six equal internal drawers, three pigeon holes and central leather skiver writing surface, over two equal panelled doors opening to single shelf flanked by carved corbel gallery supports and chamfered plinth base. 
Cabinet and cupboard have matching later crystal glass pull. 
This well cared for antique mahogany bookcase is a fabulous mahogany shade, it retains its original glass, shelves and mouldings. It has been cherished by its previous owners and is handsomely proportioned.
Please anticipate fine scratches, indents, marks and patina including internal ink stains within drawers from previous use, all of which contribute to its unique character.
