This substantial Georgian mahogany base chest (formerly the bottom part of a two piece Linen press) offers generous practical storage and the opportunity to utilise as a T.V. stand, linen store or possibly an ottoman seat if the new owner opts to have the top upholstered.
The chest includes its original period brass hardware, two short drawers over one long drawer, all raised on bracket feet. 
Offered as an inexpensive storage solution, this piece has signs of previous use including scratches, indents, marks and loses. The moulded edge top is stained only, not polished. This is an ideal,project piece for final finishing.
