A genuine early 20thC Camphorwood military campaign chest, formerly belonging to Brigadier Reginald Perry.

Benefiting from its original exterior paint and lettering this chest is in remarkably good condition given its age and period of service.

Primarily of solid Camphorwood construction with protective iron edge strips, heavy duty iron carry handle to each end, hinged top which opens to reveal a clean unlined natural wood interior.

Externally the chest is stained and painted in its original deep sienna red with black font sign writing detailing name, campaign destination and item number.

This robust chest is in very good used condition, it was part of a volume of campaign related items belonging to the same distinguished gentleman, the further pieces will be offered for sale individually over a period of time.

This chest has its original keys, the clasps would offer further security if padlocks were added.
