Exquisite large format circular French coffee table circa 1930s/1940s.
This early vintage table is a fabulous example of the Louis Revival style, bringing a splash of flamboyance to your home interior. This table is ideal for larger room spaces.
Circular form top with segmented veneer pattern, over inlaid frieze decorated with various Ormolu mounts and circular porcelain Sèvres plaques mounted within brass frame, each plaque depicting couples in period courting scenes. Six finely reeded tapering turned legs raised on ornate brass feet. Beneath the table is a under frame for strength and stability (central acorn adornment no longer present).
Good clean condition throughout.
