This fabulous large format Column lamp in brass ticks all of those boxes. From every angle its timeless design is easy on the eye.
The cast foliate capital rests on a slender fluted column rising from a cast foliate  quadripartite base.
New large format drum shade in attractive green pleated fabric is also included. This lamp has been rewired with braided twisted flex and new three pin plug, P.A.T. tested ready for immediate use.
Given its size this lamp is extremely versatile, suitable as a personal desk lamp for home working, elegant table or hall stand lamp or possibly a single bedside lamp of some distinction.
Background information/assumptions
The lamp would have most probably started life as an oil lamp and given its quality would have been a prime candidate for conversion to electricity when affluent home owners undertook the conversion to electricity from oil and gas. The casting design has and ecclesiastical flavour.
