Not that long ago many homes enjoyed the organisational benefits offered by a linen press/linen cupboard. If this is something you have always promised yourself you won’t be disappointed. This fabulous piece of furniture would also be perfect for anyone running a small boutique hotel or Airbnb.

Made from the finest solid plank mahogany this three-quarter linen cupboard benefits from its original slide-out linen drawers and lower shelf, standing on four substantial polished turned feet.

This piece has been extremely well cared for through the many decades and is offered in excellent order throughout. At some point in history the linen drawers have been further reinforced with dovetailed, glued and screwed supports.

A quality item of furniture with equal hinged doors and standing on attractive polished turned feet. Internals comprise of two original pull-out full width linen drawers including fine dovetail joints and fixed lower shelf.

Inside there is a small handwritten notation dating back to  a past interim owner in1913 (possibly its second or third owner). This piece includes some historical rub marks and life scars to the side panels and bullnose mouldings. These darker blemishes merely add unique character to the piece.
