This slim antique  mahogany dressing robe is perfect for smaller dressing rooms and narrow wall runs between doors and windows. 
Taking up a modest footprint this piece provides a generous volume of assorted organised storage. The top section could be altered by its new owner to incorporate a hanging rail.
This piece would have commenced life as the central part of a fine Edwardian Compactum which was later professionally modified (possibly in the middle part of the 20thC). 
The removable classic flared cornice includes nicely executed Greek key inlay, fine string inlay detail and selected flamed mahogany. 
The upper section consists of two equal doors decorated with flamed mahogany oval panels outlined with fine chequered stringing detail, opening to single shelf. Original key present for top section. Sturdy panel back design. 
The lower section consists of two short drawers over three long drawers with flamed mahogany, fine string inlay and original drawer pulls.
