Fabulous Ormolu-mounted, fine hand decorated porcelain lamp by Franz Anton Mehlem, Bonn Pottery circa 1900 - 1920. The hand painted decoration has a clear Japanese influence characteristic of the Aesthetic period and satsuma ware style. 
High quality German Franz Anton Mehlem table lamp, porcelain body with fine hand painted scenes with birds and gilt detailing on ivory coloured ground, mixed cast metal base and collar. The porcelain is from Franz Anton Mehlem porcelain factory, Bonn Rhineland Germany.
Porcelain has manufacturers stamp dating the piece 1900 - 1920. 
Rewired to current electrical standards this lamp is ready to compliment your space.
