Traditional Japanese 6 drawer clothes Tansu.

Similar to European campaign chests the Tansu comprises of two separate, stackable two drawer units (one with additional two drawers for valuables).

They can be used in the traditional stacked method or separated making two low storage units.

Lovely wrought iron drawer handles, side carrier handles and pierced ironmongery detailing.

Recently imported from Japan this item is offered in used condition, cleaned and polished ready for use. This item still intentionally exhibits signs of previous use and wear and tear. Buyer can decide whether they prefer the current condition and finish or opt to stain and polish the item further.

This item is more than 70 years old and exhibits signs of use, scratches and wear.
