A fabulous 1990's interpretation of the late great Charles Rennie Mackintosh's design work for Hill House (designed 1902-1904).

This fascinating form reflects the cutting edge of art nouveau design incorporating the fusion of oriental design influence and unique arts and crafts/art nouveau architectural direction inspired by Mackintosh.

This stylish show armchair made by TRL Robertson is well engineered and expertly executed with precise joinery in quality materials that befits the design, the frame is offered in very good condition (fabric requires replacement).

This bespoke armchair is currently covered in a cream jacquard which would benefit being replaced with a bolder fabric selection befitting the piece, the fabric has some signs wear. The reupholstery process is relatively straightforward thanks to the design.

We have included within this listing a selection of PhotoShop images for inspiration, fir clarity, the buyer will receive the chair in its current cream cloth, allowing them to personally undertake the upholstery change themselves or by their selected upholsterer at their own separate cost.

In its own right this chair is a work of art and example skilled craftsmanship.
