Bohemian gilt decorated ruby glass table/mantel lustre Circa 1860 - 1880.
Of tapering fluted form with decorative scalloped gallery top, pinched lower waist, generous rolled edge circular base, decorated throughout with gilt double pin stripe.
Partial wear to gilt decoration on central column main touch point. This piece would have once had decorative cut glass droplets hanging from the gallery at the point of transition from vertical to horizontal, the wire loops are still present (Droplets were sometimes discarded as fashions changed and individual drops broken or misplaced).
31cm tall, 13.5cm base diameter, 14cm gallery diameter.
