An incredible innovation conceived in the 50’s, realised in the 60s and going on to provide four decades of distinguished service before a shortsighted premature retirement due to Government budget cuts.

This display piece was commissioned by A&AEE Armament Experimental Establishment, MoD Boscombe Down who were responsible for the evaluation, design and provision of armament solutions for the Harrier. 

This model measures 46cm from pitot tube to tail and 24cm wingspan. The model and stand is in excellent condition and comes with bespoke packaging for its safe storage and transit.

This sale also includes the hardback book Harrier The V/STOL Warrier, vintage collectors post card and cigarette card featuring the P.1127 and an original copy of the BAE Systems sales brochure featuring the family tree of Harrier development and the various models variations manufactured at the time of publication.
