A masterful celebration of the architectural and Scottish Arts & Crafts decorative elements comprising of two parts, mirror back top and nicely proportioned bow front cabinet, each with expertly carved details and elements.
Removable hooded, arched top mirror back with nicely carved and turned projecting Ionic columns, arched top bevelled edge mirror flanked each side by expertly carved hooded floral motif roundels in the Glasgow School style, full width shelf beneath the mirror glass.
Cupboard base comprising of bow shaped top with moulded edge over three useful, full depth drawers with the most wonderful original pierced detail brass pulls, over two fielded cupboard doors featuring hooded, carved floral motif roundels of the Glasgow School style to each door, fixed central panel with chequered pattern veneer flanked by nicely carved and turned Ionic columns. Within each cupboard there is a single shelf, the right hand cupboard has a captive lazy Susan. Bow shaped floor panel with moulded edge raised on nicely turned bun feet.
This incredible antique has been well cared for during its life, our photographs were taken after initial light cleaning and prior to two stage wax polishing.
