Created in the final decade of the 18th Century, the Top Hat subsequently became the conventional headwear of the British gentleman.
This used antique example would be suitable for display, photo shoots and repurposing for Steampunk attire.
This top hat doesn’t have a satin lining or leather head band liner and exhibits signs of wear to the brim and circumference of the top. We wondered if it had previously been used as a stage prop or show costume piece. It includes a stud and ring at the rear for the attachment of a decorative 
The polished felt is in good condition with just slight signs of wear around parts of the top circumference edge. Please refer to high resolution images.
