Later reproduction of a hand-coloured 19thC lithograph titled St. Paul's from Ludgate Hill, created by the British artist Thomas Shotter Boys.

The original artwork was published in 1842 as part of his series ‘Original Views of London As It Is.’

It depicts a historical view of Ludgate Hill, with St. Paul's Cathedral in the background and the spire of St. Martin's church in the middle ground.

The print captures a bustling street scene with horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians dressed in period attire.  Note Wigs made to order and Straw Todd Bonnets!
