This is a later reproduction of an19thC hand-coloured lithograph titled Hyde Park Corner, created by the artist Thomas Shotter Boys.
The print was originally published in 1842 as part of a set of lithographs in his work "Original Views of London as it is".
It depicts a view of Hyde Park Corner looking towards Piccadilly from Knightsbridge.
The scene captures a bustling street with horse-drawn carriages and numerous people, offering a pictorial record of London in the 1840s.
The Wellington Arch is visible in the middle of the scene.
Hyde Park Corner from Knightsbridge looks towards Piccadilly. Apsley House is on the left and the corner of St George's Hospital is on the right. There is a 6d omnibus in the centre of the road which is, typically, under repair and also road-menders at work.

This is a vintage reproduction print printed 1950 onwards, presented in a 19thC Hogarth ebony and gold frame.
