19thC miniature hand carved and turned bone Olde English design chess set.
This charming miniature chess set includes its original wooden box and instruction booklet (no chess board included).
As is customary with bone chess sets of the period, one players pieces are white and the other players pieces are dyed red.
The wooden box is in good condition and it’s outer print is also in good condition, the all important rules of chess instruction booklet is complete and also in good condition.
The red playing pieces are all in tact. The white Queen playing piece and two white pawns are damaged/have loses, otherwise the set of white pieces is complete.
The King measures 6cm tall, the Pawn is 3cm tall.
