A handsome large format 19thC mahogany chest of drawers providing considerable storage in a practical 2 part format. This is the ideal solution for ease of relocation and safe manoeuvring in tight spaces including dog leg staircases.
In very good overall condition this chest comprises of two part outer mahogany chest cabinet which is easily assembled by aligning dowels in each end, the cabinet is raised on attractively shaped bracket feet. Within the chest cabinet 5 graduated full depth flamed mahogany drawers (top drawer is divided into three compartments) with original brass drawer pulls, original locks (no key present). The outer cabinet has attractive reeded outer columns and high polish mahogany top.
This is a genuine previously used antique, please anticipate signs of previous use including small scratches, marks, loses from previous use. Overall this is a well cared for item in very good antique condition. All the drawers are clean within and running smoothly.
