French 19thC hand painted porcelain palette clock with solid brass artists easel.
Manufactured circa 1890 by Creil et Montereau the hand painted palette features a castle and soldier with pike, golded clock dial with Roman numerals. Makers mark to the rear.
Palette supported on solid brass tripod easel with decorative brass brush and mahl stick retainer.
The original clock mechanism was replaced with a modern quartz movement and hands. The clock is battery driven and keeps perfect time.
