The Sony ICF-7600DA is a classic 15-band digital PLL-synthesized world receiver radio produced by Sony in Japan starting around the mid-1980s. It combines radio, clock and alarm function, a tour-de-force for the time. Part of an extensive, market leading line-up of Sony domestic radio’s and radio alarms.

Key Features include -

Frequency Coverage: Receives FM, Medium Wave (MW), Long Wave (LW), and Shortwave (SW) bands.

Presets: Includes 15 preset memories (5 each for FM, MW/LW, and SW).

Clock and Alarm: Features a built-in digital clock, alarm function with a choice of radio or buzzer, and an adjustable sleep/standby timer.

Audio & Jacks: Equipped with a mono line-level recording output and a standard headphone jack.

Power: Runs on batteries (typically 6 x AA) and mains power (lead not present).

At the time of photography the radio worked fine on FM, holding the signal and with clear output, where we are located we couldn’t pick up short wave or long wave signals, merely static, crackles and pops.

Offered in good clean condition (no original box or manual), original antenna is present, clean battery compartment.
