The Olympus Pen- EE (Electric Eye) half frame 35mm point and shoot camera, an analogue delight.

The PEN range are the original half frame camera format, designed to achieve an impossibly tight budget price point and still provide high quality images

This Japanese-made half-frame compact camera dates from 1961, the same era as the beloved Olympus Trip 35. Mr. Yoshihisa Maitani of Olympus originally introduced the concept in 1959, the format went to live on for many years with a multitude of different upgrades and derivatives.

The simple to use half-frame format means you get a whopping 48 exposures on a standard 24-exposure roll. That’s double for your money, imagine 72 images on a 36 exposure 35mm roll!
