A fabulous working example of this popular 1940’s/1950’s Ceramic Kitchen Wall Clock with mechanical movement by German producer Mauthe.
Offered in very good condition throughout this clock has a reassuring tick tock which brings back memories of visiting grandparents and the sound of the clock gently filling every period of silence.
Ceramic glazed body with clock face including numerals, hinged glazed viewing window with brass surround, original hands and winder still present.
Mauthe was formed  in 1844 and continued manufacture through the wars untill the 1970s. Alongside clocks they produced watches for the military.
A lovely clean working example, simply wind and relax.
