Vintage 1930’s/40’s German Medical lamp by Original Hanau, the company that went on to become leaders in tanning lamps.
Designed during the Bauhaus period and originally used for Phototherapy treatment this Lamp has been rewired to accommodate conventional ES bulbs.
This lamp has all its original parts including Bakelite base, fasteners, tighteners, protective lens aperture ring, three interchangeable colour quartz glass filters.
Now including the latest low energy LED bulb technology this stunning lamp can be used with one of its original quartz glass filters - red, blue, red/blue or with filter removed.
Not only a stunning luminaire but also an incredible historic design piece.
