Comprising original writing insert top over three full depth drawer frieze set on right hand and left hand pedestal each with three graduated full depth drawers, two original keys present.

This piece of furniture has been well maintained over the years, runner supports and internal wooden drawer stops have been previously replaced allowing smooth running of the drawers. Shrinkage cracks to the perimeter of the top have been previously filled to keep the desk in good order.

This desk has developed a mellow tone over the years and a unique aged patina developed from more than 100 years of use. This includes but is not limited to ink marks within drawers, marks and minor scuffs/scratches and small indentations to the external surfaces. Please anticipate some minor veneer loses to the top of the veneered pedestals. This is a smart honest piece of furniture that has served its previous owners well and is ready to provide its newt owner with decades of faithful service.

For ease of relocation the desk is in three parts, the top, right hand pedestal and left hand pedestal. This does not require any fixings, the top simply locates on the pedestals.

The height of the kneespace is 59cm and the kneespace is 45cm wide at the top and 42.5cm at the bottom where the skirting is fitted to the pedestal.
