Of classic bombe form with two long drawers, this piece has its original ormolu mounts and matching ornate drawer pulls, gilded moulded edge to top and decorative ‘rubbed’ ebony paint finish expositing lighter underglaze and decorative wood graining to top, front and sides.
This piece stands well in its medium format size, making it suitable for smaller and medium size spaces. It would be suitable for use in classic, contemporary or country-style interiors.
A characteristic of this piece is the distressed paint finish and used patina, giving this piece its unique hand finished appearance.
